He was born in Istanbul. He graduated from Marmara University, Sports Management department. After graduation he started coaching physical health studies. A turning point in his life was when he received a camera from his friend as a gift. He afterwards changed his course and started studying the art of photography, mastering 'light'. His photographs have been published in various travel & nature magazines including Atlas.

When coordinating the photography club of a private company, he organised domestic and overseas travels. He created his routes aiming at the untouched and hidden destinies of the earth. His main experience area is the homelands of the Alps. He gives seminars on travel photography at various schools and universities.
